One of the best kept secrets in the computer world today is how affordable it can be to own your own custom built computer.  With retail outlet stores and franchise chains marketing entry level packages at around $600 most people seem to think this is the only way to go when buying a new desktop computer.  While many of these packages are fine for the average user who only use their computer for checking email and playing online computer games,  they are highly inadequate for those who want or need more out of their system. How many times have you heard someone complain about his or her computer being too slow after having just shelled out $400-$600 for it?  Perhaps you have even had this problem yourself.  This is because these computer companies market these packages by adding in accessories that you don't need and many don't even know how to use or what it is used for.  While accessories like CD/DVD burners, memory card readers, IEEE 1394/Firewire ports are great for their intended purpose,  they are simply a waste of money if you don't need them!   This money can easily be spent on things that are needed to keep your computer running blazing fast and reliable when buying a custom built computer.  Time and time again I have had someone complain about his or her computer running slow,  freezing up,  programs terminating unexpectedly,  or the dreaded BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH (BSOD)!

While many of these problems are related to a computer not being properly maintained (defragmentation, clearing of temp file, etc.),  many times it is due to a system lacking the proper amount of RAM memory or insufficient CPU speed.  One of the first things I recommend to anyone who has just purchased one of these packaged bundles is to upgrade the RAM memory,  especially if running Windows XP or Vista.  If you are still running an XP box then I would recommend no less than 1 GB of RAM,  if running the newer Vista operating system I wouldn't recommend less than 2GB.  Many times I have browsed the computer aisle at a retail store and saw a vast number of different boxed systems sporting Windows XP and only 128 MB of RAM memory!  This is approximately 12% of what is needed!  I simply shake my head and walk away.

So what happens next?  Well,  most people get on the phone and call the tech support department for the computer company and  spend 30 minutes to an hour on hold only to have the call answered by a "tech" in India somewhere who can barely speak English tell you how to delete your temporary internet files and reboot the computer.  And PRESTO!  The computer works fine!  You thank the tech and hang up the phone only to have the problem reoccur an hour later.  Then the brand new computer is loaded up and taken to the local computer repair guru who tells them their system needs to be upgraded!  So in the end you end up sinking another $100-$200 in a brand new system to upgrade to the RAM it should have had installed from the factory!  Sound familiar?  Does it sound like I have been there, done that?  That's because I have, numerous times and each time was a new and valuable learning experience, as well as frustrating!  This site is dedicated to offering assistance that can help others avoid this frustration and sense of helplessness.  I can build the computer YOU need,  to do what YOU need it to do,  nothing more and nothing less.

You won't find any pricing or bundled packages on my site.  That's the whole idea,  bundled packages do not work for everyone and I want you to have the system you need for your application.  Simply email me with the features you need and the amount you have budgeted for it and I will put together a quote especially for you complete with everything that will be included in the system,  all designed especially for you!  I would love to talk to you face to face instead if you live in the NE Arkansas or SE Missouri area.  If not, we can talk via phone if you like,  I would love to hear from you!  I will not post my personal phone number on the website for obvious reasons but you will find my email address posted elsewhere on the site and if you contact me via email with your phone number I will give you a call.  Business phones are so impersonal so I have chosen to put off having one until absolutely necessary.

Be sure and check out the links on the site,  there is a lot of great information available for those of you who want to learn more than just how to point and click.  Here is a link to a site called HTML Source that will even teach you how to create your own website!
